Now that all the flight, hotel and reservations are done the fun part begins! How to prepare the whole family for the Walt Disney World trip!
We were already counting down the days so I figured why not make a countdown calendar? We got a large calendar some stores gave away turned it over and drew on the blank sheets. When I say “we” I mean the artist of the family which is my boyfriend. Everyday we cross a day off and its one less day until the magic begins.
Next was having as many movie nights as possible for Ziana to watch so she’d know everyone who was there. We saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Big Hero 6, The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel, Toy Story, Peter Pan, of course Beauty and the Beast on constant repeat, and much much more! This is important because it builds up the anticipation and they’ll overjoyed that they’re actually meeting Belle!
Next we had to prepare our wardrobe to some Disney theme magic. It doesn’t have to be super expensive either. I’m sure many of us already have disney outfits in our kids closet so use what you have! We went to Target and picked up a Minnie Dress, Princess shirt, Minnie skirt and that was it! For myself, I couldn’t find anything stylish enough to wear and neither did my boyfriend. So I guess we’ll get a pair of ears at Disney and call it a day!
Any other ideas you have to prepare? Let me know 🙂
