Getting Old Sucks!

Yesterday was my 21st birthday– for the 4th time! I never thought I’d be that person to feel anxiety over my age. We all want to get older to have that freedom we’ve always wanted, but once we do and the years keep passing where you no longer need to be a certain age to drive, drink or get into a club there’s not much fun in getting older.

“You become wiser with age-” Screw that! I wanna be fun and hip forever and still shop at Forever 21 :p

There comes a time where I’ll no longer be the cool person anyone can talk to about boys or shopping because what will my wrinkly butt know about it? I take my kid to the park and kids already see me as an adult that they don’t want me around! WHAT!? I can be a kid too you know!

Unless you’re a performer or icon like Beyoncé, Victoria Beckham or Britney Spears you can’t look sexy without being trashed about. I love to be sexy, love heels, tight clothes and showing skin so when will I reach that age when people will begin to say, “she thinks she’s still young.”

I put myself in Samantha’s shoes from Sex And The City, where I’ll just lie for years to my family and friends about my true age. My parents are bond to forget some day, right?
