Fathers Day gift guide anyone?
Nowadays everyone– okay just about EVERYONE, is on their phones. Our phones are used for pleasure and/or work. For me I’m glued to my phone and laptop, it’s part of my daily living; answering calls, emailing, posting photos, editing videos, so if I were to run out of battery before crying my tears out, I’d have a mini-heart-attack. Another issue I have is always having to protect my phone from possible water accidents. The iPhone 6 doesn’t have waterproof technology– therefore another fear of mine is having it accidentally be a victim to pouring rain, being dropped in the toilet/tub or not being able to take amazing photos at water parks/beaches. Good news though, there’s a fix for both issues! And with Fathers Day next weekend I’d like to give you some ideas–
Alright, so lets discuss not being fully charged to connect to the outside world. I’m constantly having my iPhone running low on battery and many times have had to edit my videos with my laptop connect to an annoying socket on the side of the couch, which is just very uncomfortable and annoying. I have three rechargeable batteries that I take with me when I have a long day event and all three work for a short amount of time, oh and one always disconnects after 5 minutes, so that leaves two. They all suck, but I gave up buying more just to be disappointed. I introduce to you Blake Fuller creator of the GO PUCK. Blake created a battery for race cars that would be lighter than their old school 45lbs and produced an 11lb battery– lightest battery ever! In 2014, Braille Battery was acquired.
With the population of iPhones he then moved his smarts to creating a lightweight portable charger for mobile devices which could be wearable and provide enough capacity to charge your devices multiple times in a day! Mind blown. We know after you’ve charged your phone for hours the rechargeable battery dies along with it so this is just pure evil genius. GO PUCK had three different ‘PUCKS’ and all are wearable. They’re not going to fit in a pocket, but you can attach it to your bag, body or wherever you chose and it can charge up to two devices at a time. Just Puck it and see where it goes (I’ve been dying to say that)! Giveaway down below–
Time to discuss the other fear– water and my technology, not a good mix. Yes, I have the GoPro, love it, greatest thing ever for under water adventures. Yes, there’s an issue– sometimes I just want to Snapchat or post a picture immediately and my GoPro won’t do that. Well, check out Catalyst Case whose main objective is to create iconic products that will enable you to explore and share your world. The creators Josh Wright and June Lai, adventure seekers, saw first-hand issues they had when going out exploring– nothing was giving their iPhones the protection they needed while out and about. It has waterproof cases for all iPhones from the 4 to the 6Plus to iPads to tablets, laptops and apple watches. They’re sold at trusty retailers like– Best Buy, FNAC, Media Saturn, JB Hifi and Yodobashi. Need I say more?

If I won the Father’s Day giveaway I’d give my dad the gift. He is a hardworking man and he could really use the waterproof case. I know it would be put to good use because he uses his phone for everything and it’s the least I could give him.
