Seriously, if you don’t have the Little Black Dress in your closet- or in your drawer- or floor, wherever you keep it you’ve just committed fashion suicide! It’s one of the top necessities every woman and girl should and HAS to have. Once, you see the video and photo you’ll go out running to find the perfect little black dress for yourself.
A Little Black Dress is a woman’s go to outfit when there’s nothing else to wear. Most women only pick out the little black dress, also known as “LBD” when it’s time to go out on a date night or girls night out and that’s it. Well I’m going to show you and demonstrate that the little black dress can be your go to outfit for ANY occasion.
**SPECIAL TIP FOR YOU ALL* There’s never any need to break the bank to look decent and stunning in an outfit. Everything I’m wearing are things that have been in my closet. It’s all about collecting great pieces little by little and mixing it all up with different outfits!
This outfit is simple to put together! I call it, “Cold Summer Nights.” I love to dress up so just going to simple BBQ at my friend’s house is no excuse for me to tone it down. I took the Little Black Dress with the same accessories from the last outfit, changed up the shoes to a more subtle heel and paired it with a jean jacket. BAM! You’re welcome.
This is literally one of my favorite outfits! The “Hipster Chic” look can make you look so dope! Again, the Little Black Dress underneath a cheetah fatigue jacket with a gold chain necklace makes it already an awesome outfit, but top it off with a beanie and you’re so beyond ready to hit the streets of New York (or wherever you live!) Since I’m a heels kinda of gal I paired with the Urban Outfitters heels, but another amazing way to match this outfit up, especially if it’s not that nice of weather out is with combat boots.
The Little Black Dress can also be worn at work– YUP! AT work– that’s right! Hopefully you own a blazer because that’s another essential to have in your closet. And you can never go wrong with black especially all black (learned that from ). What I loved about this blazer was that I was able to roll up the sleeves in order to show the black/white interior. Again, depending on the weather you can wear stockings or no stockings.
If you don’t want to go all black, change up the blazer to a coral blue…
(Blazer: Love Culture) or turquoise.
If you’d like you can also tone down the look with the blazer with simply exchanging it for a cardigan. Also you can pair it with a less flashier statement necklace and you can keep the studs. And of course, heels aren’t mandatory 🙂
This is such a neat way to dress up your Little Black Dress. A simple white-collared UNDER the LBD. A whool-brom hat would look amazing with this outfit, but unfortunately I don’t have a black one. Make sure the collar of the blouse goes over the Little Black Dress. A great statement necklace and earrings look great paired with this outfit. Instead of simple boring stockings I switched them for my suspender tights to give it a sexier look.
Now, it’s your turn to create one of my “Little Black Dress” looks and/or create your own and tag me on Instgram and Twitter!
