I was so honored with the invitation to go see the early premiere of Big Hero 6 last night. Sometimes when you have to see these animated movies you get that sighing going on and just think about how bored you’re going to be, but this time I was actually pleased. The special bond that develops between plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes makes this movie so entertaining!
Many of my comic ‘geeks’ may know that Big Hero 6 was an old Japanese comic and from what I’ve read it doesn’t really follow much of the story, but as a fan of just the movie I love it. Maybe I’ll even take a glimpse at the old comics?
I fell in love with Baymax and need to own him whether it be in life-size form or just a plush toy. Packed with non stop laughs for all ages. I love the new Disney movies that serve a strong message without over boring the point. YOU MY DUDE BAYMAX!! I leave feeling connected to the movie.
