I am proud to be Latina! Just like you should be proud to be who you are whether or not your Latino! All cultures are beautiful and I love my Latino heritage. Part of our heritage is our Spanish language. I may not be the greatest speaker to have ever lived, but I speak it regardless and make it a mission to have Ziana learn Spanish as well. So imagine my surprise and excitement when there was a fashion doll line inspired by the Latino cultures!
Vi and Va (pronounced like Viva!) are two teenage sisters: Viviana (Vi) and Valentina (Va). For these girls, every day is an adventure and a reason to celebrate the bonds of family and friendship. Vi and Va, along with their best friends, cousins Felicia and Roxxi, were created to help girls honor and embrace their heritage. I grew up with family being very important and although I didn’t grow up with cousins I learned the importance from seeing others with their cousins. I couldn’t be more thrilled that my little girl has amazing cousins that she’s growing up with and I can’t wait to see them grow together.
http://www.vi-and-va.com/ dolls are gorgeous, have a funky style to them, body shape that is a great example for our little ones to look up to,all come with fun accessories, all cousins can share the accessories and are just the perfect go to examples to teach the importance of family.
