I Love Sports for the Wrong Reasons

I don’t know about you women out there, but for me sports is not my forte. I can watch it with my man and I’ve come to understand a bit of it, but I’m not into it for the reasons he is. Here goes my train of thought:

When I heard that Dwight Howard was going to LA I was happy! My boyfriend said “LA is going to the NBA Finals.” I said, “yes two hot guys on one team no more having to like multiple teams!” Yeah, I got the look lol.

One of the most boring games to me unless your actually at a game is baseball. Whenever a player slides into base, a man gets excited because the player on his team is not out. While a woman might think if that hurt? I know I do. I’m very concerned for their well-being 🙂

I remember going to a Yankees game a couple weeks before my due date in May and during the game my boyfriend and I spent two innings waiting for food, two innings going to the bathroom, four innings him explaining the game to me and by the time we got to watch the game we were in the bottom of the 9th. Oops! I guess he learned never to go to a game with a pregnant woman.

Now for football a man will explain all the players in the football field ie; quarterback, wide receivers, center and tight end. What!? So which one has a tight ass? I’m just saying with names like those, what else do we have to think of and look at!

Boxing has become fun to watch and I never say no to a fight party. A man wants the best fighter to win as do us women, but we can’t help to secretly hope that the ugly fighter loses, so that the good-looking one doesn’t get his face beat up (O_o).

Since my boyfriend use to be an all-star in track and field we’ve watched many runs. I could care less about it. I’m just always wondering where the bulge is (head tilt).

As for every other sport out there we don’t watch them, so I don’t have my two cents to put in. If you have funny thoughts while watching a sport let me know and comment!
