I’ve had a crazy love affair with candy my whole life! Who doesn’t love candy or at least enjoy a piece of heaven from time to time?

Just like fashion, certain candies get old and a newer product has to come out, and we dread to see those candies go. Why does life have to be so unfair!?

Well, I found a perfect spot in East Harlem, New York (202 East 110th Street, NY, NY 10029) that carries the new with the old, it’s called Coco Le Vu! This place brings you back to your younger youthful years.

I stumbled upon this place with my family by accident and what a great accident it was. I was greeted very warmly and they helped me with anything I wanted. They even helped with keeping Baby Z under control! It was hard to leave because I wanted to buy just about the store. I saw that they had a very spacious back room and asked about it. I found out not only are they a candy shop, BUT they plan events and parties there too! The owner, Christine, use to be an event planner, something I hopefully get to do one day.

As we started talking I found out that they are still renovating a few things here and there when they can. Christine stated they turned to Indiegogo, which is a funding platform for anyone to raise money for their campaign. Coco Le Vu has their own campaign to help raise money to finish the place off by; helping with marketing material, completing their awning, making an official website, finishing off the party room and so on.

What I ask is to help a dream come true by donating. Look at it this way, this can be the one good thing you do this year and you can claim it on your taxes Lol!
