Forever Tango (Giveaway)

Two years ago my boyfriend and I walked through Central Park and we ran into a group of people waiting around. We stopped and asked what was going on and were told that there were free tango classes.

Free tango classes!? Who doesn’t like free!?

We waited for the class to begin and joined in on the lesson. We fell in love and went for next three Sundays in a row.

There are tons of different styles if Tango and each one is beautiful, sensual and sexy. I think what makes it so sexy is the close embrace you see that the dancers have with one another. And not to mention that although theirs certain steps you need to know it’s really just you and the music. You dance to what your body feels and that alone is beautiful.

So when I heard that there was a broadway show called Forever Tango I just knew I had to go see it!

Forever Tango is music, drama, culture, a way of life and the popularity of tango has exploded all over the world, as you may have noticed. Luis Bravo’s (creator and director) masterpiece is coming back for 10 weeks; July 9th- September 15th 2013. And for the first three weeks five-time Grammy winner Gilberto Santa Rosa will be the special vocalist guest.

What you’ll expect at the show is sixteen world-class tango dancers, one vocalist and the eleven-piece Forever Tango orchestra which I’m sure will leave you wanting more and probably wanting to sign-up for classes, haha.
