As I’ve said before I’m not a fashionista and really could care less about what’s in style. I go based off what I like, “in” or not. I stumbled upon three iPhone apps that gear towards fashion, which I rated.
I absolutely love the Kaleidoscope application. It displays images of all these great fashion outfits and if you like an outfit just click and it will give you different options of where to buy the familiar item, ranging from the most affordable to the most expensive. I can buy great pieces separately, but never know how to piece them together. This app here is like having your own stylist!
Gilt is a huge company! Amazing company at that. It brings you high-end fashion to you at a cheaper price; about 60% off. Not only fashion for both men and woman, but for children and your home. The best part is hopping with Gilt through your iPhone camera. Say you want the color of your nail polish in a piece of clothing or furniture, Gilt will bring up anything in its collection with that color. It’s dangerous though, because you may end up liking everything in that color which can equal broke! Lol.
Pose is like Facebook, Twitter and Kaleidoscope having a baby together. It posts fashionable outfits on a page, find out where they bought it, you can like the outfit, leave a comment and follow people.The app automatically follows 52 people for you from YouTube trend setters to people from InStyle. The two things I didn’t like is that it does not give you options of where the person bought the outfit nor a link to click to go to the website they purchased it at. I say give it a try!
