Daily Moisturizing Routine

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with LUBRIDERM and Latina Bloggers Connect

We all know that moisturizing your skin on a daily basis is important for healthy looking skin, especially using SPF to protect your skin from the harsh rays of the sun. I must admit I grew up not caring for my skin much and not because my mother didn’t push it, but because it seemed like an extra step and I didn’t want to take the time to moisturize. Thankfully, now as an adult I know the importance and regret the many years I neglected my skin.

Now I’m passing this daily moisturizing obsession onto my daughter. I suffer from eczema and have seen my daughter starting too as well. The Lubriderm moisturizing lotion line has a normal to dry skin lotion that feels great on our skin. It’s 100% fragrance-free, dye-free and lanolin-free, which helps protect our dry and sensitive skin due to eczema. This is the lotion I’ve been using most out of the SPF, Shea Coco Butter and the lavender Jasmine.

moisturizing routine

My favorite Lubriderm morning moisturizer is the one with the SPF 15. If you remember awhile ago I stressed on a previous blog post, “Sunblock For Yourself & Baby” how important it was to protect your skin from the sun. Whether the sun is burning your skin or hidden behind clouds, the sun is always there and peeking through. Therefore, before applying any makeup I’ll dab it on my whole face, neck, chest and the back of my hands since those are always the most exposed. Obviously, if it’s Summer and you’re wearing your short-shorts you’ll apply on your legs.

beauty tricks

Lubriderm lotions don’t have any distinct smells that would bother you if you have issues with strong scents. However, if you’re all about wanting to smell great then the Enriching Coco Butter and Shea + Calming Lavender Jasmine is just for you! While being moisturized you can also smell quite pleasant. It’s been proven that inhaling certain fragrances can reduce stress levels. Different scents produce various effects on people. Lavender and Jasmine are two herbs that help in tranquility and inducing sleep. So knowing that I have used that on my daughter at night to help her sleep better.

Have any of you tried the Lubriderm line? What was your experience? Let me know in the comments below!
