What I Wore To The Orgullosa Event

If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook and yes, of course Twitter then you saw that I attended the Orgullosa event which was just fabulous! More on that event to come next week, but many wanted to know what I wore. Well, here ya go with all the deets! I call this my “Clueless” look with the plaid skirt :p

When it came to what I was going to wear I simply opened up my closet door to see what I could create. Your outfit doesn’t always have to be brand spankin’ new, it’s all about switching outfits up and mixing it up. I’ve had the vest since college about 4 years ago and never really wore it, but once. I’m not one to throw anything out– I’M A HOARDER with clothes! The lace crop top and plaid skirt were both purchased at Forever 21 months ago and never worn. SO kind of new?

Spring is here– somewhere here, it’s still kind of chilly in NY so with skin creeping through the lace on my arms and my tummy along with some thigh action I thought it was the perfect peek-a-boo!

These shoes I’ve been dying to wear out! Another item purchased a couple months ago, but didn’t have the right outfit. The details of the silver buckle and my favorite part– the silver on the heel is just FABULOSA! And a little trick for us thin legged women– wear thick knee-high socks to fill the leg up I couldn’t find the socks that work with these so had to opt for another pair, which didn’t work to great.
