I like to think of myself as a pretty well organized individual. However, my closet space doesn’t allow me to be that organized due to the space. Baby Z and I went shopping which is something she is starting to LOVE! So we decided to do just that.
Our day started when she woke up at 7:30 AM and out the house at 9AM. I’ve never gone in and out of so many stores with Baby Z, it was tiring; take stroller out, hook carseat to stroller, take diaper bag and then when leaving- unhook stroller, put the stroller and diaper bag away. Imagine doing that a total of 14 times! Other moms and dads know how tiring it is. Also imagine that the last place you go, which ended up being my Pearle Vision appointment she decided to cry the whole time because she didn’t get a chance to sleep!
Anyways back to the beginning of our day. Our first hit was Dick’s Sporting Goods to get daddy running shorts and work out gloves. I thought I picked up running shorts, however, they ended up being football shorts lol oops. At least I didn’t mess up on getting dope Nike gloves.
Next store was buybuyBaby where I got a swimsuit for Baby Z (pool party in a few weeks) and a stroller fan, which is the size of my head! Maybe I’ll return it?
Last stop was the most incredible store, Bed Bath & Beyond. With this store you have to remember what you went in there to buy and go get it without making any pit-stops along the way. Or you’ll end up buying all this wonderful crap you didn’t really need. I bought a bathroom rug, kitchen mat, and unfortunately since I can’t have a walk in closet I had to buy an over the door shoe rack- the next best thing!
The only thing I had to assemble was the 36 over the door shoe rack. I hate putting things together and was so close to leaving it for my boyfriend to do, but I didn’t! Here is my closet before:
It took no more than 15 minutes to put all the pieces together and voila!
I feel so much more relaxed that its no longer a mess, but I fixed a problem with a solution and now have encountered another problem with no possible solution. Check it out:
